Luke meets Aunty Caryn and Uncle Trent

Caryn and Trent came to visit SA and met Luke for the first time. It was so awesome that they got to meet him around this age because he really has developed some real personality!

We all went to Rhenosterpoort for the weekend, and Luke spent a lot of his time in his little swimming pool Shell with granny,

. . . chewing his Dinosaur

. . . having a snooze with mommy in the hammock under the trees

. . . chillin' with dad around the braai

. . . or going for walks with gramps

We all had such a cool holiday together. I must say, it was VERY hard to say goodbye to Caryn and Trent when they went back to the UK because I know when they see Luke again he will be so different! I suppose we can at least be thankful for technology like blogs and skype - we don't have to use snail mail eh!?

The Little Studio

Time flies by!

I tried solids for the first time this month - boy oh boy was that AWESOME - GIMME GIMME GIMME

Then I tried teething biscuits (even though I'm not teething yet) and I love, love, love those too - especially how they get all over my face!

My uncle Brian and Aunty Dale have let me borrow my cousins walker because he is still in my Aunty Dale's tummy - I love walking in it - I am soooo good too!

Mark and Lauren get permanent wedding rings

Mark and I had lovely wedding rings . . . but unfortunately I haven't been able to wear mine for almost a year and I was so reluctant to re-size them because I am hoping to lose the preggie weight soon and then they'll fit again . . What a dilemma!!!

So Lara, a friend of our came to Malachi's first birthday and showed us her gorgeous new tattoo on her wedding finger - her husbands name Peter

Mark and I both loved the idea and asked them if we could please be copycats and do the same ... La was cool with that, and so -

Luke is 4 months

My boy seriously just gets cuter every month. He is such a delight. He only cries for good reason and he sleeps all the way through the night

He just loves his bath time with his dad and we have recently added his bath toys to his bathtime which he is really enjoying

Luke's hands are always in his mouth at the moment, and if he manages to hold or grab anything, it also goes straight into his mouth

This last week was quite an eventful one. Mark and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary, Brian and Dale went for their 20 week scan of their little peanut and Luke turned 3 months old! He is as cute as ever!

This month was also Danielle's birthday so we went our for breakfast with our 2 families. The dad's took some time out with the little babies for a while . . . mainly just to take the photo - ha ha

Luke sure has learned to use his lungs, and boy has he mastered that! He can cry like a crazy man . . .

but luckily he has more happy moments than sad ones, and those are soooooo precious!

We also went to visit Tanja and Seth this month. Seth loves Luke and is very fascinated by him. In the picture he is giving Luke a love - friends for life I tell you! Tanja is also pregnant with her second little bubble. So we have two new additions to look forward to next year!
